Green Junk Mail: Buy GWSO (not!)
Off the Lists has a great story on the use of junk mail to push (inflate) stocks. Someone spent $1.4 Million(!) on a massive junk mail (direct mail) campaign to try to get people to buy this penny stock. Then the guy sells out his stock, and hopefully comes out ahead… And sometimes it kinda works….
